MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Back to School is days away.
Back to School is a bittersweet time as the feelings of excitement and nervousness clash and the beginning of a new school year approaches. With those feelings come responsibilities as well including shopping for uniforms, shoes, school supplies and doing everything you can to start off the school year right.
But, if for some reason you haven’t gotten all those things ticked off your “Back to School” list, allow this event to help you out.
On Saturday, August 24 at 3:30 p.m. make sure to come out to Mill Hill Park. Bring your kids and take advantage of the free school supplies and backpacks they’ll be giving out. If your child needs it, they’ll get a free haircut, too! Licensed Barbers are donating their time to give out as many haircuts as they can! All in one day, you can make so much Back to School progress that you’ll have more time to enjoy your kids before they return to the classrooms!
It’s going to be a great event and any child entering any grade from Pre-K to 12th grade is welcome to come enjoy the festivities.
If you would like to donate school supplies to help support this event you can do so up until August 23.
