On Sunday, October 6th, the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey invites you to an afternoon of fanfare and fun at the CPNJ’s next performance, “A Centennial Celebration of Gabriel Fauré”. The show will begin at 3pm at the Trenton City Museum, located at 299 Parkside Ave., Trenton, NJ 08606. This marvelous musical spectacle celebrates and uplifts the timeless work of Gabriel Fauré, a gifted visionary whose compositions have left audiences in awe for decades. A century following Fauré’s first debut, the talented world-class musicians of the CPNJ will be performing their own take of these beloved classics. The evening’s show will by performed the following featured musicians:

  • Nelly Federova, Violin
  • Dennis Krasnokutsky, Viola
  • Noelle Grand, Cello
  • Maja Raykovic, Piano
  • Natalie Collier, Soprano

This centennial celebration will feature a number of highly anticipated program highlights, including Piano Quartet No.1, Op.15, Elegie, Op. 24, Après un rêve, Op. 7, No. 1, and Sicilienne, Op. 78. Whether you have been a long-time listener of Fauré’s compositions or are just now being exposed to his works, all are certain to be wowed by the emotion, beauty, and elegance of this masterful performance.
