The City of Trenton invites the public to participate in the annual Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness Ceremony on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. This year’s theme, “Treasure Your Chest,” highlights the importance of early detection and ongoing support for individuals affected by breast cancer.
The community walk will begin at the NJ State House Annex (131-137 West State Street) and continue to Trenton City Hall (319 East State Street). Upon arrival at City Hall, a Breast Cancer Awareness Ceremony will take place, honoring survivors, raising awareness, and providing educational resources for attendees.
Attendees can expect:
-
Health Vendors offering resources, and educational materials
-
Community Organizations providing advocacy and support services
-
“Share Your Story for Awareness” platform
- Live Music, activities, and more
“This event is more than a walk,” said Mayor W. Reed Gusciora. “When we come together as a community, we are sending a message that no one fights alone. Events like Pink Out are essential in raising awareness and breaking down barriers to care in our city.”
All are welcome to attend and are encouraged to wear pink in solidarity. Whether you’re a survivor or simply someone who wants to support the cause, your presence matters.
