How our children spend their day matters. From the moment they wake up in the morning until it’s time to go to bed, each day presents new opportunities for nourishment, nurturing, and growth. While children do spend the majority of their day in the classroom, what happens when the day’s final bell has rung? For many students, extracurriculars such as music, sports, or the arts offer an engaging way to get involved and make these moments a productive, fulfilling use of time. But where are kids without activities to turn? Thankfully, the City of Trenton is here to provide our community’s youth with an enriching and educational environment, courtesy of this year’s Youth Afterschool Program.
