Lights, camera, action – a night of glitz and glamor for a great cause is headed your way!

On Thursday, February 27th, the James R. Halsey Foundation will be hosting its Third Annual Red Carpet Premiere Night. This year’s celebration will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trenton Country Club, located at 201 Sullivan Way, Ewing Township, NJ 08628.

And of course, what’s a great red carpet premiere without a star-studded lineup? To help set the stage for this year’s event, the JRH Foundation has teamed up with a number of community leaders to recreate scenes from your favorite films, including Moneyball, Selma, and Ocean’s 8.

This year’s lineup of dynamic nominees includes:

Nominees for Best Actor & Best Supporting Actor:

  • Dr. Eric Schwartz, Capital Health
  • Harold Smith, Smith Family Foundation
  • Perry Shaw, Trenton Community Street Team
  • Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, NJ 14th Legislative District

Nominees for Best Actress & Best Supporting Actress:

  • Pat Hartpence, NJM
  • Nina Melker, William Penn Bank, Mercer County Commissioner
  • Stacey Denton, Mercer County Community College
  • Det. Tamika Veal, Trenton Police Department

In addition to celebrating this outstanding panel of stars, the evening will feature live performances, a night of dancing to DJ Jimmy G, and the much-anticipated announcement of the recipient of our third Lifetime Achievement Award. This award honors a steadfast commitment to the mission and values of the James R. Halsey Foundation of the Arts.
