Art is a fundamental part of the human experience. Beyond just a stunning creation to behold, art is a means of capturing a moment and a priceless recollection of a time, place, or idea. As art is such an inherently connective medium, it is no surprise that art and community often go hand in hand. For centuries, artists have been capturing the cultures and curiosities that transfixed the people of their time. And as we forge ahead towards the future, artists also have the power to craft a visual manifestation of the days that lie ahead. Here in Trenton, we are lucky to have a thriving arts community with a number of bold visionaries bringing their works to the Capital City. In celebration of great Trenton art past, present, and future, the Old Barracks welcomes you to their newest gallery, “Trenton Makes”.
On Friday, June 7th, the Old Barracks invites you to the unveiling of their brand new gallery show, “Trenton Makes”. The gallery will officially open on June 7th at the Old Barracks Museum campus, located at 101 Barrack St, Trenton, NJ 08608. The display will be available for guests to enjoy from June 7th through July 6th, marking the perfect excuse for a summertime venture to the Old Barracks Museum.
