Medicare is a right of passage for American residents ages 65 years or older. While many of us have a basic understanding of what Medicare is and how it functions, the various ins and outs and fine details can cause quite a confusion for the majority of participants. While navigating this pillar of the American healthcare system can seem intimidating, with just a bit of research and input from the experts, you’ll be able to confidently forge ahead with the best plan for you and your family. If you’re a Trenton resident and are ready to embark on your Medicare journey, the Trenton Free Public Library has you covered with their upcoming informative seminar.
On Wednesday, July 24th, the Trenton Free Public Library welcomes you to “Medicare With Confidence: Turning 65”. This conversation will take place from 2-3pm at the Poetry Cafe of the library, which is located at 120 Academy St, Trenton, NJ 08608. For guests planning on driving, the library offers patrons a limited number of parking spaces. If no spaces are currently available, there are also a number of metered on-street spots available directly outside the library. While this event is free to attend, advanced registration is required. In order to enroll, please RSVP on the library’s event page, linked here: RSVP – Medicare With Confidence.
The afternoon’s conversation will be led by Scott Bornfreund, a representative of SMS Insurance Agency. Some of the important topics that will be covered throughout the course of the afternoon include the basic of Medicare, some of terminology associated with the program, enrollment periods, plan types available, and cost assistance. By the conclusion of the seminar, guests should walk away with greater knowledge and confidence regarding which Medicare plans would best suit their personal needs.
