Attention all young people of the Capital City: stay tuned, because it’s time to celebrate!

This weekend, the Trenton Puerto Rican Community and Friends Organization will be hosting their 4th Annual La Fiestas Patronales de Trenton, or the Trenton Youth Festival, on Sunday, August 4th. This vibrant celebration of culture, youth, and community will kick off at 12pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, located in Downtown Trenton at 151 N Warren St, Trenton, NJ 08618. For guests planning on driving, there is plenty of free parking available to guests at the Bank Street Garage, which is located at the corner of Bank St. and N. Willow St. Festivities are free to attend, so be certain to bring the whole family for an unforgettable day of fun.

As a part of the day’s celebration, guests will be able to enjoy a whole host of activities, including food trucks, youth vendors, cultural artisans, community organizations, and live entertainment from a jam-packed lineup of talented artists. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win an all-new Honda Civic, courtesy of Maxima La Primera 92.9fm. For just $20, guests can also access unlimited carnival rides and bring the day’s adventures to new heights. There will be six attractions to choose from, so be sure to opt-in to enjoy a fast-paced day of fun and high-flying action.

Programming for La Fiestas Patronales de Trenton is presented by the Trenton Puerto Rican Community and Friends Organization, a local non-profit devoted to the preservation and celebration of Puerto Rican culture in the Capital City. Formed in 2022, the TPRCFO has made it their mission to educate, raise awareness, spread pride, and exhibit Puerto Rican culture and its community in Trenton. From educational and cultural programming to festivals, flag raising celebrations, and more, this organization plays a fundamental role in bringing the magic of Puerto Rican culture to every corner of our community.
