The Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) is pleased to announce that Veronica Yales has been appointed as LALDEF’s newest Legal Services Coordinator. Prior to her time with LALDEF, Ms. Yales served with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office as a Bilingual Clerk 1. As a Legal Services Coordinator, Ms. Yales will be working closely with LALDEF’s legal clients as they navigate their pathway to citizenship. Funding for the expanded Immigration Legal Services program was generously provided by the Bunbury Fund of the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
As policy in the United States continues to evolve, LALDEF’s Legal Services team is proud to stand with Mercer County’s immigrant neighbors. From their initial intake to the day they become a U.S. citizen, LALDEF stands with clients every step of the way.
