The Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program is preparing for its fourth summer providing Trenton youth ages 16-21 with job readiness training and summer employment.
The collaborative is currently seeking nonprofits to accept a Trenton youth intern for 6 weeks and to help give them a great summer employment experience. Participating nonprofits will receive $200 to support administrative costs associated with implementing the program. Trenton youth placed with your nonprofit will be funded through the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
SYEP gives you the opportunity to prepare youth for the workplace while providing a dedicated and trained Trenton teen for the summer months.
