Hear ye, hear ye! Since the dawn of our nation, the tavern has played an integral role in the social and civic lives of Americans. Long before the dawn of the internet, the tavern was more than just a neighborhood mainstay; it was a vessel for the exchange of ideas, connections, and community. While the ways in which we convene with others have changed over the years, we have much that can be learned from the humble tavern. If you’ve always longed to step back in time and experience an old-fashioned tavern for yourself, look no further than The Old Barracks Museum for a night out of historic proportions.

The Old Barracks Museum recently announced the return of Tavern Night, a beloved yearly tradition for a wonderful cause. This year’s celebration will take place on Friday, September 6th from 7pm to 10pm. All festivities will take place at The Old Barracks Museum campus, located in Downtown Trenton at 101 Barrack St, Trenton, NJ 08608. Please note that this is an adults-only event, and guests under 21 years of age will not be admitted.
