All of us fondly remember a film that made us laugh, cry, challenged us, or simply inspired us. Film has magnificent power to both entertain and impact us in many ways. While many may think of Hollywood as the capital of film, on the East Coast the capital of film is actually New Jersey’s Capital City of Trenton.

Starting on Thursday, March 28th at the Mill Hill Playhouse, the Trenton Film Festival will be the premiere place to go and see many new and exciting films. The Trenton Film Festival will feature 4 days of entertainment packed with 54 different films, Q&A’s with various filmmakers, and other special events, so don’t be alarmed when you see the red carpet rolled out along East Front Street and limousines pulling up during this exciting weekend.

This four day affair will showcase filmmakers throughout the region who submitted their works which were selected by a panel of judges. There will be 12 screenings overall and patrons can purchase tickets for $8 per screening ($5 per screening) or purchase an All-Festival Pass for only $25 ($15 for students) enabling them to see all 12 screenings.

There will be a closing reception and awards ceremony open to all at
6:30 p.m. on Sunday March 31st along with the Trenton Film Festival exhibition films in the playhouse lobby.
