The City of Trenton’s Summer Concert Series is back! Between July and August 2021, The City of Trenton and the Department of Recreation, Natural Resources and Culture are bringing nine different live bands to eight different park stages.
The 2021 Summer Concert Series kicked-off last Saturday, July 3 with a patriotic, Independence Day performance from the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey (CPNJ). The concert took place at 7:30 p.m. at Mill Hill Park on E. Front and Market Street in Trenton and featured works by John Williams, John Philip Sousa, Irving Berlin, Lalo Shiffrin, Richard Hayman and Irving Berlin.
The second concert of the series happened just last Friday, July 9. The Latin group brought rhythmic tunes to liven attendees at Unity Square Park (former Columbus Park).
There are seven more concerts left in the 2021 Summer Concert Series in Trenton to attend. Various sounds of blues, jazz, county and more will play at the many open city parks including Stacy Park, Franklin Park, Cadwalader Park, Agabiti Park, Battle Monument Park and Villa Park.
