Today, February 11, 2021, Trenton native and award-winning vocalist, songwriter Sarah Dash will be receiving her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. She will be accompanied by Mayor W. Reed Gusciora Reed.
Dash is scheduled to receive the vaccine at 3:00 p.m. in the CURE Insurance Arena, located at 81 Hamilton Avenue. According to the City of Trenton, Dash wants to encourage more of her fellow Trentonians to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Sarah Dash is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, motivational speaker, educator, entrepreneur and humanitarian. She co-founded Patti LaBelle & the Bluebelles, made history as a member of Labelle and became the very first Music Ambassador for Trenton in 2017. The accomplished star wants the community of her hometown to follow in her footsteps and register to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
All residents interested in the vaccine should reserve a spot at the state portal at covidvaccine.nj.gov. Any residents who need help registering should call the City Department of Health at (609)-989-3242.
