On Saturday, September 7th, you are invited to the Trenton City Museum for a Juror’s Talk with Kimberly Camp, juror for this year’s Ellarslie Open 41 exhibit. The morning’s festivities will kick off at 10:30am at the Trenton City Museum campus, nestled in the heart of Cadwalader Park. The address for the museum is 299 Parkside Ave., Trenton, NJ 08606. If you are planning on driving, there are a number of free and accessible parking spots located directly adjacent to the Museum.

Admission to the Ellarslie Open 41 Juror’s Talk is $25 for the general public and $20 for members of the Trenton Museum Society. You ticket price includes admission to the event, as well as access to some delightful mid-morning refreshments. Following the Juror’s Talk, attending guests will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Ms. Camp, who will be available to address any inquiries you may have regarding the exhibit and her jurying process.

The Ellarslie Open exhibit, now entering its 41st year, is the Trenton City Museum’s annual juried exhibit. This year’s gallery features the work of 110 pieces by 94 artists. At the Juror’s Talk, guests will have the opportunity to hear from Kimberly Camp, who will be discussing her jurying process, her art, and her museum leadership, including the Barnes Foundation. Ms. Camp is an accomplished artist specializing in painting and dolls. Camp’s resume boasts 100 solo and group exhibitions, two NEA fellowships, and is a Kellogg National Leadership Program Fellow. Following the discussion, guests are invited to explore the Ellarslie Open 41 exhibit, as well as the rest of the museum’s many exciting offerings. If you cannot make it out to the Juror’s Talk but still wish to view the exhibit, you are in luck – it will be on display through October 6th!
