Minimum requirements to apply include:

- Age between 18-35 years old

- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Strong employment history
- No indictable or drug convictions
- Sound moral character
- Ability to pass the New Jersey Police Training Commission’s physical fitness test
