The City of Trenton Police Department is officially launching its 2025 Police Officer Recruitment campaign, calling on qualified and dedicated individuals to join the Trenton Police Department.

The Trenton Police Department is seeking passionate individuals who are ready to serve and protect the capital city of New Jersey. Applications are now being accepted through PoliceApp.com, the official recruitment platform for law enforcement agencies across the region.

Minimum requirements to apply include:

  • Residency in New Jersey
  • Age between 18-35 years old
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong employment history

  • Sound moral character
  • Ability to pass the New Jersey Police Training Commission’s physical fitness test
