Trenton Prime Seafood, a newly-opened seafood restaurant located
at 439 South Broad Street, prides itself on being Trenton’s first and only African American owned and operated upscale seafood destination. The cozy spot, which opened its doors just last week, offers dine-in and take-out seafood with daily house specials ranging from king snow crab boils to seafood pasta dishes and more. The spirited BYOB restaurant hopes to build a strong following as the go-to place for all things seafood in Trenton.
William Miner, co-founder of Trenton Prime Seafood and lifelong resident of Trenton, grew up on Stuyvesant Avenue, and by all accounts, lived a very rough life. Miner’s transition to becoming a successful entrepreneur in the city of Trenton is awe-inspiring. “I want to be a part of the revitalization and economic redevelopment of the city of Trenton,” said Miner during a recent interview with TrentonDaily.
The restaurant’s other co-founder, Chef Curvy Thompson Jr., brings a unique taste that he mastered over the years as part of his company, Silverspoon Gourmet Catering, specializing in upscale comfort food using only premium quality ingredients.
