With Veterans Day right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to say thank you to the veterans in our lives. After nobly fighting for our country, Veterans Day gives us the opportunity to serve those who served us. Although no single day or event could fully capture the magnitude of our thanks, taking the time to make our Veterans feel appreciated is a small way we can demonstrate our gratitude.

One of the ways the Trenton Branch NAACP and Mercer County Veterans Services are saying thank you this year is by hosting a Veterans Expo on November 10th from 11 am-2 pm. Veterans will have the opportunity to enjoy raffles, food, entertainment, information, and more. The expo will be held at the Mercer County Park Office and admission is completely free. Veterans will have the opportunity to explore the variety of resources available to them, connect with other service members, and enjoy an afternoon of community and fun.

If you’re a veteran looking for resources in the area, Mercer County Veterans Services (MCVS) are here for you. MCVS can provide veterans and their families with a variety of supports, including assistant with VA claims, career fairs, transitional housing, and more. If you are in need of services, please visit the MCVS website here: Mercer County Veterans Services.

If you have any questions regarding the Veterans Expo, please contact the organizers at (609) 989-6120 for additional details.
