In recent years, violence has become a prevalent force in the lives of our youth. From online bullying to conflict in schools, there is no denying the unfortunate reality that the anger and rage felt by younger generations has manifested itself in a number of troubling ways. However, just because violence is commonplace, does not mean it is inevitable. By reaching out to our community’s youth and equipping them with healthy ways of handling their emotions, a lifelong foundation for positive conflict resolution can be laid. When it comes to preventing violence, the earlier the intervention, the better. And now, youth in the Capital City can take the steps towards a violence-free life thanks to Visionary Philanthropy Group’s Violence Prevention and Intervention Program.
