Nyene Baker, the visionary Founder and CEO of Visionary Philanthropy Group Inc. (VPG), is on a mission to revolutionize access to technology in underserved communities. His journey began with a setback, one that many can relate to, in the pursuit of career advancement.

Working at an Amazon warehouse in Baltimore, MD, Baker saw an opportunity for a tech career. Excited and ready to take on the challenge, he applied, only to face a daunting test that ultimately led to rejection. But Baker wasn’t deterred. He recognized the injustice in the situation, seeing through the nonsense of arbitrary barriers.

Instead of succumbing to defeat, this setback ignited a fire within Baker. He realized that his experience was not unique and that countless others faced similar challenges. This realization fueled his inspiring vision of empowerment and opportunity for underserved communities.

Baker’s approach is strategic and impactful. Through partnerships with tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Girls Who Code, he’s spearheading programs that provide crucial tech training and skills development in areas that need it most. His dedication is evident in the swift execution of multiple initiatives, including launching three program partnerships with Google, one with Microsoft, and one with Girls Who Code.
