Gourd-ness, gracious, we can’t believe it’s already autumn! But with the changing trees, falling leaves, and crisp breeze blowing through the streets of the Capital City, there’s no denying that fall has officially landed in our corner of the globe. Whether you’re perusing the pumpkin patch, hitching a ride on your local hayride, or just taking in the sites of the season, now is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy this magical time of year. In celebration of this special season, the City of Trenton invites you to be a part of this year’s Fall Festival.
On Saturday, October 19th, Trenton’s Cadwalader Park will be transformed into an autumnal wonderland at the 2024 Trenton Fall Festival. The afternoon’s festivities will take place from 2pm to 5pm at the blacktop area near the Ellarslie Mansion, located at 299 Parkside Ave., Trenton, NJ 08606. If you plan on driving to the festival, Cadwalader Park offers an abundance of free parking for visitors. Throughout the afternoon, guests will be invited to partake in a whole host of wholesome fall activities, such as a petting zoo, hayrides, and exploring the pumpkin patch. Guests can also look forward to enjoying games, music, refreshments, and more. Before you leave for the day, be sure to decorate a pumpkin to have a memory to bring home and keep the fall fun going all season long!
For those looking to embrace their competitive side, this year’s Fall Festival features a number of contests and competitions for guests to participate in. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, look no further than the Pie Eating Contest to dive into a delicious bit of friendly competition. For those looking to dazzle with their very best decorations, you are invited to submit your creations for this year’s Best Decorated Display. Finally, if you can’t wait for Halloween to show off your one of a kind costume, be sure to enter this year’s Costume Contest for the chance to strut your stuff. Whether you step up to compete or choose to cheer on friends new and old from the sidelines, a great time is certain to be had by all.
