To commemorate its 50th Anniversary, NJTL of Trenton has partnered with New York City filmmaker Sean Welski to produce a series of three mini-documentaries capturing the organization’s enduring impact on the lives of young people across the Trenton and Mercer County community. The short films—each three minutes or less—offer a cinematic look at the nonprofit’s remarkable journey: past, present, and future. Through authentic storytelling and compelling visuals, the series celebrates five decades of tennis, education, and character development that have shaped generations of youth since the organization’s founding in 1975. Each mini-documentary explores a different chapter of NJTL of Trenton’s story:

Our Story: 50 Years of Service and Impact

Student Journeys: Then & Now

The film series is now featured on the NJTL of Trenton website link below and well as shared across the organization’s social media platforms as part of its 50th Anniversary celebration. For five decades, NJTL of Trenton has provided year-round tennis and education programs to thousands of local youth, empowering them to succeed both on the court and in life. This milestone year—and the accompanying film series—celebrate the organization’s lasting commitment to opportunity, equity, and excellence.
