Attention all film fans: pop some popcorn and get ready to kick back and enjoy, because Movies Under the Stars is officially back for the 2023 season!
The City of Trenton recently announced the return of Movies Under the Stars, a summertime favorite for residents all throughout the Capital City. These community movie nights offers Trentonians a chance to get out under the stars, catch some all-time favorite movies, and enjoy an evening together with neighbors and friends. This year’s lineup features a number of family-friendly selections, from superhero movies to beloved cartoons and everything in between. Attendees of this year’s events can look forward to viewing some of the recent year’s most beloved movies, including:
- Rumble: Thursday, July 6th at the Capital Area YMCA
- Puss In Boots: The Last Wish:Thursday, July 13th at the Trent House
- Family Camp: Thursday, July 20th at Greg Grant Park
- DC League of Superpets: Thursday July 27th at Juan Martinez Park
- Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile: Tuesday, August 1st at Cadwalader Park; coincides with National Night Out
- Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat: Thursday, August 3rd at Edgewood Playground
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: Thursday, August 10th at MLK Park
- Lightyear: Thursday, August 17th at Franklin Park
- Super Mario Bros. Movie: Friday, August 18th at Cycle Kings
- Vivo: Thursday, August 24th at Unity Square Park
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: Saturday, August 26th at Cadwalader Park
This year’s Movies Under the Stars is part of the City of Trenton’s comprehensive summer programing for the 2023 season. From free fitness classes to youth and teen programs, Trenton has you covered for all sorts of summertime fun. During the summer season, when the weather heats up and the days get longer, it can be easy to fall into a routine and let the dog days pass your by.
