Mayor W. Reed Gusciora announced that the City of Trenton Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED) and N.J. Community Capital (NJCC) will host an online business seminar today, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., to talk about resources available to Trenton businesses, notably the Paycheck Protection Program and the City of Trenton Emergency Loan Program.
The virtual panel will consist of several speakers from NJCC, including Marie Mascherin, Leah Apgar, and David Langlieb, who will discuss the Paycheck Protection Program. City Economic Development Specialist Eric Maywar will talk about the City of Trenton Emergency Loan Program. The event will conclude with a question-and-answer session with Trenton businesses.
Businesses interested in attending the webinar can register here. The webinar will be recorded so that businesses who cannot attend the meeting will still have access to the discussion.
Both the NJCC Paycheck Protection Program and the City Emergency Loan Program are available for small businesses that need help covering payroll, rent, mortgage, utility and other costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’ve been doing everything we can to ensure an environment that is attractive for both existing and new businesses,” said Mayor Gusciora. “Whether its coordinating weekly pick-up events to support local restaurants or working with groups like NJCC to ensure additional financial support during these trying times, we want our businesses to know we have their back. I encourage every Trenton business that’s interested in the Paycheck Protection Program or the Emergency Loan Program to tune in next week.”
