Thanksgiving is almost here, and it’s time to gobble until you wobble! Regardless of who you are or what your life circumstances may look like, we all deserve the opportunity to gather around the table with our loved ones and enjoy a hot turkey dinner during the season of giving. If your family is still in need of a turkey before the holiday rolls around, the City of Trenton has you covered with their annual turkey giveaway.

On Tuesday, November 21st, the City of Trenton, in collaboration with Mercer Street Friends, will be hosting their Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. The event will kick off at 3pm at Unity Square Park, located at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Hamilton Avenue Trenton, NJ 08618. The giveaway will continue as long as supplies last, so be sure to arrive early to make sure you secure your spot. The perfect way to kick off your turkey day, this event is certain to be a wonderful afternoon of community and fun.

The City of Trenton’s Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, and Culture will be the host for the afternoon’s festivities. Through this department, the City of Trenton offers residents of our community countless opportunities for fun, community, and fellowship for all ages. From seasonal basketball teams to community pools, meal giveaways, and more, this department plays a fundamental role in making our city a great place to live, work, and play.
