The City of Trenton will be hosting a follow-up local contractor training information session at City Hall today on how to navigate the City’s procurement process.

The session will take place today, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021 in the City Hall Atrium on 319 E. State Street from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The last session outlined required documentation and where to track upcoming projects. Next week’s event will focus on helping contractors understand how to be compliant with the City’s procurement process.

“We’re committed to helping our local entrepreneurs succeed,” said Mayor W. Reed Gusciora. “The last event was a huge success thanks to all of the people who came out as well as everyone who put their time and effort into setting it up. After having a packed house at our first information session, we’re incredibly excited to host a second event with even more helpful information on Dec. 1, 2021.”

This training program is part of Trenton’s “Fight the Blight” initiative, which fuses Trenton’s long-term blight reduction strategy with extensive community and local business engagement. Repairing or taking down vacant properties is a top priority of the Gusciora administration as it seeks to attract development to neighborhoods that need it the most.

Social distancing and masks are required. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to sregister@trentonnj.org.
