The weather outside may be frightful, but an evening with Santa Claus sounds anything but!

Gather your whole crew and come down to the Capital Area YMCA, where guests can enjoy a variety of holiday treats and activities. The celebration is taking place on Thursday, December 15th from 6:30-8:30 pm at 431 Pennington Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. This is a completely free event but is first come, first served, so be sure to come on time and enjoy the evening ahead!

The event will feature a variety of holiday fun for every member of your family. If you were curious if you made the nice list this year, now’s the time to find out – Santa Claus will be in town! After you’ve had a chance to strike a pose with Santa, families can enjoy a variety of holiday crafts and music to get you in the holiday spirit. Throughout the evening, guests will also be able to enjoy giveaways as well as some tasty refreshments. Come celebrate with fellow community members, spread a bit of holiday cheer, and take in all the festive evening has to offer.

This event is but one way the Capital Area YMCA steps up to enrich and encourage our community. The YMCA’s Trenton branch opened up in 1856, and they’ve been serving the people of Trenton ever since. Although some things may have changed over the years, what remains consistent is a commitment to the Mercer County region. As an organization, the Y has a proud history in our city – they were even the hosts of the very first professional basketball game! And that legacy is still alive and well today as they continue to support the Capital City.

The Y offers classes, childcare options, events, and more throughout the year. A full event calendar can be found here: YMCA – Calendar. The YMCA is particularly concerned with the development and progress of our city’s youth. As an organization, they seek to offer a safe and nurturing environment in which all members of the community can learn, grow, and thrive. As they continue to serve Trenton and the surrounding communities, the impact of their efforts to foster and promote healthy living and social responsibility are felt every day.

If you’re looking for some holiday fun to spice up your week, be sure to come to this festive celebration. If you have any questions before the event, please contact the Capital City YMCA at (609) 599-9622 or membership@capitalymca.org. Anyone who wishes to support the YMCA and read more about their work can do so here: YMCA – Support. After spending the evening with Santa and friends, we’re certain you’ll leave feeling merry and bright!
