Attention all ghouls and ghosts! If you’re looking for a hauntingly fun way to celebrate the season in the Capital City, the New Jersey State Museum has you covered with this year’s Halloween Spooktacular. Thrills and chills are in store for all, so stay tuned to discover how you can participate in this year’s celebration.

It’s hard to believe, but Halloween is almost here, and the New Jersey State Museum is here to get things started with a full day’s worth of autumnal fun. This year’s Halloween Spooktacular will be held on October 28th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Jersey State Museum campus at 205 W State St, Trenton, NJ 08608. There will surely be fun for every family member, so all ages and stages are welcome to participate.

Guests can enjoy several family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon to get in the Halloween spirit. And, of course, what would Halloween be without an epic costume? Come dressed in your Halloween best and arrive early to register for this year’s costume parade. You’ll have a chance to get all dressed up, march along with some costumed friends, and even win a prize! Guests can also participate in a scavenger hunt, crafts, and themed games to keep the spooky vibes going. There will also be plenty of candy because you can’t have Halloween without some sweet treats.

In addition to some Halloween-themed fun, guests can enjoy a show at the New Jersey State Museum’s state-of-the-art Planetarium. A free concert under the stars will begin promptly at 2 pm. Please note that seating is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to kick back and enjoy the show.
