The City of Trenton, Division of Economic Development is urging everyone to support local Trenton restaurants by ordering from their favorite New Jersey Capital City food destination. In an effort to spur activity in the midst of this global pandemic, the City of Trenton has modified its Trenton Eat Local Club program to focus on take-out and delivery orders.
For years, Trenton supporters and foodies have gotten together every month to sample a different restaurant, break bread with interesting people, and directly support small Trenton businesses. An exploration of cuisines in Trenton hailing from 18 different countries, this initiative offers an opportunity to sample great foods while also supporting to local economy. While patrons may not be able to eat together during this crisis, they can still support Trenton businesses to get them through this difficult time while also sharing take out pics on the Trenton Eat Local Club FaceBook page.
How it works: Visit Trenton Eat Delivery Club each week to see the pick-up or delivery establishment chosen by its members. You can also vote on your favorite establishment at any time. In the end, the goal is to spread the love across various restaurants throughout the city.
This month’s winner is: 1911 Smokehouse (Trenton Eat Delivery Club Week One–1911 Smokehouse BBQ)
Help save the Trenton restaurant scene and help restaurants meet their payroll and other expenses, by getting delivery every week. You can find out the featured businesses of the week at https://www.facebook.com/groups/50736285826/.
