On Saturday, April 20th, Isles invites you to participate in the upcoming First-Time Homebuyers Workshop. Throughout the afternoon, Isles, who is registered as a HUD-certified housing counselor, will be providing guests with the need to know details when navigating the home-buying process. The workshop will take place from 8:45am to 4:00pm at Isles, located at 33 Tucker St., Trenton, NJ 08618. The cost of admission is $50 per individual or $75 per couple. Some of the resources included with the cost of your admission include workshop materials, snacks and lunch, coffee/tea, and more. At the conclusion of the seminar, guests will receive a Home Buyer Education Certificate, which is required to qualify for a number of first-time homebuyer programs and perks. Please do be aware that if you plan on attending, only those who stay for the entirety of the workshop in order to be eligible to receive your certificate.

This informative afternoon will cover a variety of must-know information regarding purchasing a home, including:

  • What are the financial reasons to buy a home?
  • How much mortgage can I afford? Will I qualify?
  • What role does a realtor play? A lender? An inspector?
