With an election just around the corner, voters must walk into the voting booth informed. But with so many candidates and competing ideas, sometimes it can be tough to feel like you’ve got a full picture of what your options are. That’s why the Conservatory Mansion in Trenton is here to help.

Now through November 8th (Election Day), the Conservatory Mansion will be featuring its Multimedia Interactive Civics (MIC) exhibit to help Trenton voters get prepared for Election Day. The exhibit will feature video clips, podcasts, forums, articles, and more with each of the Trenton City Council and Mayoral candidates. Empowered voters making informed decisions is a key cornerstone of our democracy. By getting a better feel for what’s on the ballot and truly understanding their options, voters can proceed with confidence on Election Day.

In the upcoming election, Trenton residents will be voting for Mayor as well as City Council. For City Council, each Ward will have a representative. Aside from the representatives for each ward, there are also three at-large candidates. Several candidates are running in each category. When you come to the Conservatory Mansion, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from each of these individuals. Once you’ve had a chance to get to know the candidates, it’s up to you to choose who best represents your values.

Although local politics can often go overlooked, the decisions being made by our representatives will have a direct impact on our day-to-day lives. Now more than ever, it’s imperative to know exactly what’s on the ballot so you can rest assured knowing you’ve made the best decision for you.

If you’re interested in visiting the exhibit, the exhibit will be open during the following hours:

  • Sunday, Nov. 6th: 2pm-7pm
  • Monday, Nov. 7th: 11am-7pm
  • Tuesday, Nov. 8th: 9am-7pm
