New Jersey’s Economic Recovery Act (“ERA”) is a multi-faceted program to encourage new housing and business opportunities throughout the state and it has the potential to have an incredible impact in Trenton. Panelists will share their thoughts on the how the program can be effectively utilized in the Capital City and talk about how they can be leveraged to drive economic growth.

City of Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora will provide opening remarks; NJEDA Chief Executive Officer Tim Sullivan will provide the keynote address; and panelists will include C. Andre Daniels, Director of Housing and Economic Development, City of Trenton; Diana Rogers, Sr. Community Development Officer, NJEDA; and George Sowa, Chief Executive Officer, Greater Trenton. The event will be moderated by Julie Krause, Senior Advisor of Special Projects, Office of the State Treasurer, N.J. State Capital Partnership.

Last year, Greater Trenton hosted its Capital City Economic Outlook webinar which focused attention on the Economic Recovery Act and potential development opportunities in Trenton. A wide range of people in attendance — including government officials, business leaders, clergy, community members, real estate brokers, developers, investors, architects, engineers and attorneys — learned about how these state incentives can be utilized to advance New Jersey’s Capital City.
