The New Jersey Economic Development Authority released the following construction activity notice:
Test blasting of subsurface rock will take place at the construction site for the new Department of Health building at the corner of Willow and Hanover Streets on Friday, February 1st. A warning horn will sound just before the test blast, which is scheduled for approximately 11:00 a.m. The blast area will be buffered by protective mats to control noise and debris. Following the tests, there will be blasts occurring once or twice daily, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for approximately three weeks.
