Due to popular demand, Passage has extended its Theatre for Families and Young Audiences show Surely Goodness and Mercy by Chisa Hutchinson and directed by Marcus D. Harvey. This online hybrid presentation will be available to stream for a second weekend between Thursday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 4.

The story follows an odd, but bright little boy named Tino who befriends Bernadette, the lunch lady at his school. Through quick conversations, a few moments of grace, and the help of their sassy friend Deja, both Tino and Bernadette learn about the strength hiding within themselves and what it means to truly care for another.

General Admission tickets can be purchased for $17 at www.passagetheatre.org. There are also Senior and Student tickets available for $13. Upon ticket purchase, audience members will receive a confirmation email including a link to view the video.

Passage’s Artistic Director, C. Ryanne Domingues, said, “We are delighted to extend Surely Goodness and Mercy, and are so grateful that the show was well-received by our patrons and online community. This play gets to the heart of kindness, compassion, and caregiving that is so needed in today’s climate. We hope that the play’s message will continue to ring true in the hearts and minds of everyone who sees it!”
