It’s time to raise a toast, because the Red, White, and Brew Fest is on its way to the Capital City!

Perhaps you know the story of George Washington and the role he played in the establishment of the United States of America. He was our nation’s very first president, a renowned general of the Revolutionary War, and an instrumental figure in establishing the values of our nation. He was also, as it turns out, something of a brewer! In a journal of George Washington’s, it was discovered that he had inscribed a recipe “to make small beer” in the notebook he carried as colonel of the Virginia Militia during the French and Indian war. In honor of Washington’s penchant for a pint, the Red, White, and Brew Fest was formed!
