‘Twas the night before Thursday as Mayor Gusciora led the lighting of the Menorah and Christmas tree yesterday evening at Trenton City Hall. With cheerful performances by Sprout U and Trenton Central High School, participants celebrated in Trenton-style with music, marching, and, of course, hot chocolate and cookies with Santa who hailed all the way from the North Pole or perhaps the North Ward. After a much-anticipated public countdown, 319 East State Street was suddenly swept with lights.
