We’re officially in the full swing of holiday season, and shopping for gifts is on everyone’s mind. However, this year, you don’t have to stray far from home to find the right gift for every person on your list.
The Trenton Pop-Up Market is here for the 2023 holiday season, giving you the perfect opportunity to complete your holiday shopping right here in Trenton. The market will take place right in the heart of Downtown Trenton, located at 200 North Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08608. At the Holiday Pop-Up, guests will have the opportunity to peruse dozens of dynamic goodies from a number of local artisans and crafters. As of now, over 15 local businesses from Trenton and surrounding areas already signed up to participate. Shoppers will have the chance to kick back and relax as they enjoy some delicious dining, shop locally, and enjoy a day of connection with the community.
The market will be held from 1pm to 5pm on Saturdays through the holiday season on the following dates:
- November 18th
- November 25th
- December 2nd
- December 9th
- December 16th
- December 23rd
Admission is completely free for shoppers and only $35 for vendors. If you’re a local entrepreneur and wish to be a part of the fun, it’s not too late to sign up! Vendors can register to participate online here: Vendors – Pop-Up Market. Registration includes a vending pass as well as a vendor gift. If you wish to attend every market, vendors are able to purchase an all-access pass for $140. If you plan on vending, please note that you must be enrolled at least 24 hours in advance of the event date in order to participate. Vendors will be expected to bring their own tables, chairs, etc. Vendors fees will be used to support the “Trenton Entrepreneur Fund”, where participating vendors can request funds to purchase equipment, software, supplies, or materials to grow and expand their businesses. From its inspirational roots to where it is today, the Trenton Pop-Up Market has been a powerful entity for entrepreneurs in Trenton and its surrounding communities. In March of 2023, Isles, Inc. provided a grant to Akeya Fortson-Brown, a local entrepreneur and Trenton native, which empowered her to host a one-time event called “Success In The City” in Downtown Trenton. This event was such an immense success that the two once again decided to join forces, but this time, on an even greater scale. The Trenton Pop-Up Market serves as a tremendous asset to shoppers and businesses alike, allowing the community to come together and support one another during this special time of year.
