Spring is just around the corner, and now is the perfect time for a fresh start. Whether you’re just getting your start in the working world or are looking to pivot from your current path, a new position can be just the thing to help reinvigorate your career. But where does one begin when on the hunt for your next opportunity? While online job forms and other resources can be helpful, there’s nothing quite like a hands-on opportunity to connect with potential employers and get a feel for what the company is all about. And now, thanks to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), you can accomplish exactly that at their upcoming Job Fair.

On Wednesday, March 27th, you are invited to TASK for an afternoon of networking and niceties. The fair will take place from 10:30am to 1:00pm at in the Conference Room at TASK headquarters, located at 72 1/2 Escher St, Trenton, NJ 08609. Those interested in attending should arrive prepared with a copy of their resume, as well as two forms of identification. At the fair, guests will have the opportunity to connect with a number of impressive employers, including New Jersey Transit, Mercer County, Mercer County Community College, Constellation Culinary Group, Capital Health, and more. Representatives from these organizations will be on site to discuss current openings and opportunities, as well as answer any questions that you may have.

As a prospective employee, job fairs are one of the best resources around. At these events, a number of competitive employers will be gathered under one roof to help you on your journey to your next great job opportunity. Whether you’re just putting out feelers or hoping to be hired on the spot, there is something for every kind of jobseeker. While submitting your resume online is a great tool, there is nothing quite like meeting face to face and participating in a dialogue to find out if an opportunity is the best fit for you. The groundwork is set for an exciting and productive morning ahead, now all that’s needed is you!

In addition to the upcoming job fair, TASK is also home to a number of resources to help Trentonians and members of the surrounding communities get back on their feet.
