Trenton residents and employees spent the warm afternoon yesterday, Friday, May 21, 2021 lined up for free food at Trenton’s City Hall parking lot. In honor of the upcoming Memorial Day, the city wanted to treat its community with the second annual Food-a-Thon.
From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., families of all sizes attended for a taste of Buzzetta Catering, who served cheesesteaks, burgers, chicken tenders, fried Oreos and more. According to Buzzetta’s, the truck sold over 600 fried Oreos and around the same amount of their other offerings.
The City of Trenton’s Fire Department, the Trenton Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association (FMBA) Locals 6 & 206 joined the party by passing out waters and Gatorade to thirsty attendees.
