On Saturday, March 16th, the Trenton City Museum invites you and the wonderful women in your life to take part in a Women’s History Month-themed collage workshop. The workshop will take place from 10am to 1pm at the Trenton City Museum campus, located at 299 Parkside Ave., Trenton, NJ 08606. Your instructor for the morning is Beverly Keese-Kelley, an in-house artist and member of the Trenton Museum Society who will be on-site to help you craft your creation. Now returning for its 2nd year, this event promises to be an engaging and empowering day for all. Admission to this event is free, but at-will donations are accepted if you wish to support the important work of the Trenton City Museum. Advanced sign up is required, so be sure to secure your spot by completing the registration form, linked here: TCM – Collage Workshop.
At the workshop, guests will be challenged to create a collage inspired by and for an important woman in their lives. Guests will be provided with a number of materials including scrap book pages and magazine cuttings which can be used in the creation of your collage. Whether your inspiration is a figure of history, a groundbreaking pioneer, or even an important person from your personal life, each of us has a woman in our lives who inspires us to become the very best version of ourselves. Through their strength, wit, and determination, these women have blazed a trail and set an example of what we should all aspire to. Your collage will serve as a vibrant tribute to these fearless females as well as a heartwarming reminder of a well-spent morning at the museum.
Your host for the weekend’s workshop is the Trenton City Museum, a cultural destination for visitors both near and far.
