Join the Trenton community Thursday, July 22 at 11 a.m., as the City of Trenton hosts a banner unveiling ceremony on the front steps of City Hall to celebrate Trenton native Athing Mu for qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics representing Team US. The ceremony is held just two days before Athing departs for Tokyo, Japan, where her first 800-meter race is set for July 29 at 8:55 p.m. EST.
Speakers for the ceremony will include Mayor W. Reed Gusciora, Mercer County Commissioner Samuel Frisby, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education Hope Grant, and Trenton Track Club Coaches Al Jennings and Bernice Mitchell.
