Today at 2 p.m. Mayor of Trenton W. Reed Gusciora and City of Trenton Officials will join representatives from West Windsor’s Chinese American community to receive a delivery of vital Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
The delivery is made possible by the HX Chinese School at Plainsboro, Central Jersey Chinese-American Association, and Windsor Athletic Club, who took the lead in raising funds to purchase PPE for some neighboring township governments and public service organizations to help fight COVID-19. The equipment is in short supply across the United States, and necessary to render life-saving services for constituents.
“We are grateful for our friends in surrounding communities who have stepped up to the plate to help Capital City residents fight this pandemic,” said Mayor Gusciora. “It is especially heartwarming for the Chinese community in West Windsor and beyond to donate critical supplies of PPE for our seniors and first responders.”
The delivery will take place today (2 p.m.) at the Trenton Fire Department Headquarters, 244 Perry Street in Trenton, NJ.
