The Central New Jersey Rotary Clubs are co-hosting the 2nd Annual Rotary College Possibilities Event at TCNJ this Saturday, January 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The event will be a combination College Fair and an Admissions/Financial Aid Primer.  It’s intended to show students (and their parents) the numerous ways that higher education is a possibility.

They’ll have world-class presenters giving talks on test prep, admissions and financial aid for higher learning. Also, an ongoing College Fair will take place in the Atrium.  Numerous colleges have reserved tables for the College Fair including TCNJ, Rider, Stockton, Fairleigh Dickinson, Mercer County Community College, Mercer Vocational Tech, Cabrini College, Ramapo, Rosemont and others.  Military recruiters will be onsite as well.

The presenters include a Former Dean of Admissions at Princeton University as well as Andre Maglione of New Jersey’s Higher Education Student Assistance Authority.  You’ll find information on local scholarships including Rotary College Scholarships, ETS Scholarships, Janssen Scholarships and others.  Finally, the Boys & Girls Clubs, United Way and the Give Something Back Foundation will all have resources at the event (and later) to assist with the application process for higher education and/or financial aid.
