Capital Singers of Trenton will bring angelic voices to Trenton on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 5 p.m. as they present a Summertime Christmas featuring the Vivaldi Gloria and other works at Sacred Heart Church.
It will be like Christmas in Summer as strings accompany the first time read-through of Vivaldi’s Gloria and other works as a prelude for the Winter Songs Concert in December, 2019. Read through choral music or just come and listen. The free event, which is open to all, will be followed by an ice cream social with light refreshments.
Sacred Heart Church is located at 343 South Broad Street in Trenton.
Capital Singers of Trenton, which serves as the choral voice of the capital region performing a repertoire of both sacred and secular music, strives to promote the art of choral singing, enrich the cultural life of New Jersey, and act as ambassadors for the City of Trenton through concerts, special performances, and community outreach.
