If you want to enjoy a fall festival close to home, the City of Trenton has you covered with a full day’s worth of family fun.

The City of Trenton has announced this year’s Fall Festival to celebrate the season. This event invites residents of Trenton to bring out the whole family for a day of seasonal celebration. The day’s fun will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st. Festivities will be held at Cadwalader Park, 36 Parkside, Trenton, NJ 08618. When you arrive at the park, you will want to gather in the blacktop area adjacent to the Ellarslie Mansion. With the park lit up with the bright foliage that only autumn can bring, this is the perfect backdrop for a day of fall fun. This event is free to attend and includes activities for all ages, so all are welcome to come out for an afternoon of autumnal excitement.

Throughout the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a whole host of activities. Guests can participate in a hayride and pumpkin decorating for autumnal fun. There will also be plenty of entertainment on site, including music, a petting zoo, games, and more. If the day’s festivities have you working up an appetite, do not worry: refreshments will be provided throughout the day. There will also be several competitions throughout the day to enhance the excitement, including:

  • Best Halloween costume contest
  • Best decorated display
  • Best pumpkin pie contest
