The Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey (CPNJ) will perform a free concert in the Pavilion at Cadwalader Park in Trenton on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 4 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, September 27 at 4 p.m.

The concert entitled Our American Heritage, will feature wind and percussion sections of the ensemble. In conjunction with the re-opening of the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey’s 29 piece wind ensemble will perform a program featuring marches, music from Broadway, and a number of patriotic works; all by American composers including William Schuman, Richard Rodgers, Leroy Anderson, and John Philip Sousa. The concert will be conducted by Daniel Spalding, CPNJ’s Music Director since its founding in 2013.

Since the concert is outdoors, there is plenty of room to socially distance. Masks are required. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
