On Friday, December 29th, you are invited to the Capital City for a magical evening at the Colonial Ball. The festivities will begin at 7pm at the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple, located at 100 Barrack St, Trenton, NJ 08608. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to move and groove alongside the soldiers of the Battle of Trenton as they walked you through some of their favorite moves. Your dance teacher for the evening will be Sue Dupre, and the soundtrack will be provided by the likes of John Burkhalter, Timothy O’Connor, and Ridley and Anne Enslow. This yearly tradition is certain to sweep you off your feet, offering a glimpse of the past unlike any other. Refreshments will be served, so you can stay fueled as you dance along to some historic tunes.

Advanced tickets are required, so please do makes plans to secure yours prior to attending. Admission is $40 for non-members, and $35 for current Old Barracks members. The Colonial Ball is a highly anticipated portion of Patriots Week. This year, Patriots Week is back and in full force for the very first time since the pandemic. Back and better than ever, this year’s jam-packed schedule includes historic tours, musket demonstrations, hands-on activities, and the return of the Battle of Trenton reenactment. Every year from December 26th through December 31st, the City of Trenton is transformed into a relic of the past, offering residents and visitors from all over the opportunity to see our community as it may have being in the midst of the Revolutionary War.
