Trenton Daily had the opportunity to speak with Eduardo Montiel Tovar, a Disney on Ice performer who will be taking to the ice at this weekend’s shows. Discussing what fans can expect at this weekend’s shows, he noted “This is a story which follows your favorite characters as they try to find their inner hero and pursue their dreams. You’ll see the classic stories like Belle, Cinderella, and Rapunzel, as well as some more modern stories like Frozen, Coco, and Moana.” He later shared, “I hope that people will be able to share memories with their family. It’s so nice to see the kids cheering when they get to meet Mickey or when they hear Let It Go, it’s a really nice thing.”
Mr. Tovar then shared about his favorite part of the show, noting “One of my favorite parts of the show is the Coco number because I’m from Mexico and this part of the show reminds me of my home. All the colors and the costumes are really close to my heart, so it’s nice to see that part of the show and that it’s something for everyone to see.”
When asked about his favorite Disney movie growing up, Eduardo noted “When I was a kid, I remember I used to watch Beauty and the Beast all the time, and it’s so nice because I’m on that segment. I appear in the Be Our Guest number as a cake, so it’s nice to connect that memory from when I was a kid to what I’m doing now, it’s so cool.”
