On Thursday, February 29th, the New Jersey State Library invites you to their next webinar, “Introduction to Finding Grants”. This compelling conversation will walk guests through the need to know details regarding the abundance of grant-writing resources currently available through the New Jersey State Library. This conversation will be held virtually on Zoom from 12pm to 1pm. While all NJSL webinars are completely free to attend, advanced registration is required. By investing just one afternoon of your time, with a bit of help from the NJSL team, you’ll know how to access to some of the state’s best resources for years to come.

Throughout the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the ins and outs of the New Jersey State Library’s Funding Information Center. This conversation will center on the ten most important things grant seekers need to know when finding funding, including topics such as:

  • Who funds nonprofits and what are their motivations.
  • What do funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding.
  • How do you identify potential funders and make the first approach.

Those in attendance of the webinar will be granted login credentials to the Foundation Directory database and will have remote access for the 48 hours following the presentation. At the conclusion of the talk, there will also be ample opportunity questions in case any further clarification is needed. This webinar is certain to be of note to anyone currently seeking funding, offering a glimpse at one of a grant seeker’s most valuable resources.
