As the birthplace of the iconic delicacy known as pork roll (not Taylor Ham!) it is only appropriate that Trenton celebrates this gift to mankind with an annual festival. Pork Roll is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, with eggs, cheese, or even on a baseball jersey. If you consider yourself a pork roll aficionado or have simply never treated your tastebuds to pork roll (we express our sympathy for those of you who haven’t) consider checking out the Trenton Pork Roll Festival happening on Saturday May 25th at Trenton Social.

This all day affair will feature live music, entertainment, swag bags, an outdoor beer garden, a bike ride offering guided tour or Trenton’s pork roll past and present led by Trenton’s Wills “Wheels” Kinsley, and of course pork roll being served by a variety of food vendors all at one of Trenton’s premier bar and restaurant, Trenton Social.

If all of this doesn’t salivate your tastebuds consider these top three reasons to visit as provided by the Trenton Pork Roll Festival.

  1. The food – Trenton Pork Roll Festival 2019 only happens once a year in Trenton NJ at Trenton Social – where it all began.  Be sure to sample some unique culinary uses of the city’s famed meat from the finest food trucks and pork-roll-savvy chefs only at Trenton Social.
